Athletic Clearance Procedures

ATHLETIC REGISTRATION for 2016-17.

The three main steps are
1) Register with AthleticClearnance -https://www.athleticclearance.com(link is external)

2) Have a Valid Physical

3) Pick up a "ticket to Play" from the Athletic Office - and turn in physical if needed.  Athletes need a new ticket to play for EVERY season.

The final step will be to pick up a "Ticket to Play".  All athletes have a “Ticket to Play” and give it to their coach before being able to participate.  For SPRING SPORTS ATHLETES, The Athletic Office (700 building) will be open on Tues Jan 24th from 2 - 4, Wed Jan 25th from 2 - 4, Thurs Jan 26th from 2 - 4, Monday Jan 30th from 2- 4.    PLEASE make sure to have your athlete come during those times and bring a hard copy of a valid physical.  IF your athlete turned in a Physical for a previous season, then they just need to come get an updated "Ticket to Play" during the day/times listed above.

Athletic Participation Donation

When students participate in the  PALY Athletic program, we ask for  a donation of $200 per student per sport.  Without this contribution we would be unable to maintain the athletic program at PALY.  Participation Donations can be made on line at http://palysportsboosters.org/participation/

The operating budget for Paly Athletics is approximately $300K.  These funds are raised through contributions from the athletes and their families and Sports Boosters fundraisers like the Snack Shack, holiday tree lot , Booster Passes and the annual auction.  Sports Boosters raises money for ALL non-coaching costs needed in order to run and manage ALL of our sports programs at Paly.  This includes:  transportation fees, league fees,  officials, uniforms, equipment, tournaments, training room supplies and awards.

 

 

SPRING SPORTS PARENT NIGHT

Mon Feb 13th at 6:30 in the MAC
All Spring athletes are expected to have a parent or Guardian in attendance. There will be a large group meeting followed by individual team meeting.  This is your chance to meet the coach and hear all about the plans for the season.
 
 
 

Spring Sports Start on Monday Jan 30th

Please be sure to complete the clearance process and pick up a "ticket" to play before Jan 30th.  Spring Sports start on Monday Jan 30th for all athetes not playing on a Winter Sports Team. For information about a particular sport, please contact the coach directly.  Contact information is listed under "Coaches Contact" on the left hand column of this page.
