Get Involved Internships and Service-Learning

Looking for ways to connect your students interests, talents, and passions to create social change and make a difference in the world? And, what about volunteer internships? Check out the resources created and managed by Paly students, see: Get Involved website. First round Community impact internships application deadline has passed, but stay tuned for more service-learning (volunteer) internship postings on the way!

Other service-learning and educational internships can be found at organizations such as these: Boys and Girls Club Peninsula, Paly Social Justice Pathway, Paly Sports Pathway, Paly Work Experience and Exploratory Experience classes, and IQ650 Internship programs.

Congratulations to 70 Vikings who qualified for the President's Award for Volunteer Service in Spring, 2015. Paly students document between 30,000-40,000 hours of service to the local, national, and international communities each year, giving back to the causes they care about. See the Spring 2015 list here.

Check out some of the Service Day pics to discover how Vikings "Made a Change" at our 6th Annual Service Day/NiOS. Thank you to 835 Paly participants, 65+ parent chaperones, dozens upon dozens of parent donors! 48 local nonprofit organizations benefited from your connections to the community on Thursday, April 23rd. This year's 7th Annual school-wide Service Day will be Thursday, March 24, 2016. Get Involved, Paly!

Paly Vikings contribute an average of 40,000 hours of service to more than 200 community benefit organizations each year. See the Get Involved website for ideas to match your interests, aptitudes, and passions to a cause-related learning activity.
