You are invited to Paly's Centennial Celebration, Sunday, October 7th 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Everyone is invited to Paly’s spectacular new Performing Arts Center to celebrate Paly’s 100th birthday with world premier vocal and theatrical performances and special dedications presented by notable Paly alumni. The event is FREE but click here for general admission tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door. Box Office opens at 1:30. Birthday cake will be served!
Sunday, October 7th 1:00pm – 3:30pm March to Paly: A Centennial Reenactment.
The Palo Alto Historical Association will conduct an historical reenactment of the march that took place on the first day of school in 1918 when students, staff and community members marched from the old Paly campus on Channing Street to the current Paly site. After the March everyone is invited to our brand new Performing Arts Center where we will dedicate Centennial Plaza and honor our school founder Anna Zschokke. World premier student performances will follow, and we’ll finish the afternoon with birthday cake.
- Event Time: 1:00pm - 3:30pm (March: 1:00-2:00 pm; Dedication/Performance Program 2:00pm - 3:30pm)
- Location: The March starts in front of Channing House 805 Webster and ends at Palo Alto High School Centennial Plaza. Centennial dedications and student performances follow in the Paly Performing Arts Center (PAC).
- March Logistics: Marchers can park at Paly at any time prior to the March and make their way down to the starting point, or meet at Channing House prior to 1:00 pm. It should take approximately 45 minutes for the entire group to arrive at Paly (1.4 miles).
